* WHAT...Visibility around one mile in blowing dust. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central Illinois. * WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Westerly winds gusting 30 to 35 mph have resulted in localized areas of blowing dust. Winds will diminish this evening at which point the threat of blowing dust will end.
Instruction: 
Be ready for a sudden drop in visibility to around one mile, possibly lower. If you encounter blowing dust on the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as possible and put your vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way off and keep foot off the brake pedal. Remember, 'Pull Aside, Stay Alive'.
