Description:
* WHAT...Visibility as low as one-quarter to one mile in blowing
dust.
* WHERE...Portions of Lake County south of Summer Lake, including
Paisley, the Chewaucan Valley, and highway 31.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM PDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions are possible due to reduced
visibility.
Instruction:
Persons with respiratory problems should make preparations to stay
indoors until the dust passes. Be ready for a sudden drop in
visibility. If you encounter dense blowing dust or blowing sand on
the roadway or see it approaching, pull off the road as far as
possible and put your vehicle in park. Turn the lights all the way
off and keep foot off the brake pedal. Remember, 'Pull Aside, Stay
Alive'.
