* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Hamilton County in east Tennessee...
* Until 1000 PM EDT.
* At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible as thunderstorms continue to move over the same areas.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Chattanooga, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Walden, Lakesite,
Ridgeside, Fairmount, Harrison, Red Bank, Falling Water, Middle
Valley, East Ridge, North Chickamauga Creek Gorge, Lookout
Mountain, Harrison Bay State Park and Mowbray Mountain.
Instruction:
