Northeastern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama...
* Until 100 AM CDT.
* At 935 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Woodville. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are
possible for northeast Alabama. Flash flooding is already
occurring. For areas in a tornado warning, please seek shelter
from the tornado as the tornado is a larger threat to your life
than this flooding at this time.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Sylvania, Owens Cross
Roads, Hollywood, Powell, Gurley, Section, Woodville, Ider,
Pisgah, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone, Dutton, Langston,
Paint Rock and Larkinsville.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
