Description:
At 352 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Southern Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Marshfield, Ava, Highlandville,
Rogersville, Seymour, Sparta, Mansfield, Fordland, Taneyville,
Diggins, Fremont Hills, Duncan, Wasola, Goodhope, Dogwood, Rome,
Elkhead, Squires, Keltner, Brownbranch, Bruner, Bradleyville,
Brushyknob, Oldfield, Garrison, Noble, Chadwick, Linden,
Northview, Rockbridge, Christian Center, Gentryville, Brixey,
Drury, Vanzant, Selmore and Dora.

Bryant Creek at County Road 223, Little Beaver Creek at Old Cheese
Plant Road, Bull Creek at Center Road, Beaver Creek at County Road
524, Little Beaver Creek at County Road 447, Fox Creek at County
Road 246 and James River at Bell Ford Road.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
