Description:
At 626 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Numerous roads were reported to be flooded
across the area. There was also a water rescue reported north of
Worthington. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Fairmont, Mannington, Pleasant Valley, Barrackville, Monongah,
Fairview, Hundred, Cassville, Rivesville, Grant Town, Farmington,
Worthington, Rachel, Metz, Idamay, Carolina, Wadestown, Daybrook,
Wana and McCurdyville.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
