Description:
At 806 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Carl Junction, Galena, Oronogo, Seneca, Anderson, Carterville,

Creek, Lanagan, Shoal Creek Drive, Saginaw, Treece, Loma Linda,
Airport Drive, Lowell, Redings Mill, Grand Falls Plaza, Brooklyn
Heights, Shoal Creek Estates, Dennis Acres, Cliff Village, Racine,
Iron Gates, Oakland Park, Atlas, Riverton, Crestline and Neutral.

Butler Creek at Kings Highway, Buffalo Creek at Finch Drive, Lost
Creek at Highway CC, Honey Creek at Oak Street, High School Branch
at McCord Street, Hickory Creek at Coler RD and Buffalo Creek at
Klondike Road.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
