* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following county, Hamilton. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 603 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain may result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chattanooga, Signal Mountain, Walden, Ridgeside, Harrison, Fairmount, Red Bank, Collegedale, East Ridge, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, Middle Valley, Harrison Bay State Park, Lookout Mountain and Apison. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
