* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Concho, Irion, Schleicher, Sutton and Tom Green. * WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 606 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms from Juno to Sonora to Eldorado to Paint Rock to the O.H. Ive Reservoir. Movement was east at 30 mph. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The heaviest rainfall of 2 1/2 to 3 inches extended from Mertzon to San Angelo to Veribest, Harriet and Lowake. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Angelo, Sonora, Eldorado, Mertzon, Paint Rock, Christoval, Eden, Knickerbocker, Wall, Lake Nasworthy, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Vancourt, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Tankersley, Sherwood, Veribest, Eola, O.C.
