Louisiana...Mississippi...Arkansas...
Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Chicot, Washington,
East Carroll and Issaquena Counties.
Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and
Concordia Counties.
Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison, Jefferson,
Claiborne, Warren and Tensas Counties.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Mississippi River at Vicksburg.
* WHEN...Until Monday, June 09.
* IMPACTS...At 39.5 feet, The Long Lake Road to Eagle Lake Road
becomes impassable about 1 mile north of the Long Lake Community.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 38.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 39.2
feet Wednesday evening.
- Action stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
