Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Concordia, Adams and Wilkinson Counties. Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Tensas, Claiborne, Madison, Warren and Jefferson Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Vicksburg. * WHEN...Until Thursday, June 12. * IMPACTS...At 39.5 feet, The Long Lake Road to Eagle Lake Road becomes impassable about 1 mile north of the Long Lake Community. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 38.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 38.5 feet this afternoon. It will then rise to 39.2 feet Friday evening. It will fall to 36.3 feet Saturday, June 07. It will then rise to 36.4 feet Sunday, June 08. It will fall again and remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 35 feet. - Flood stage is 43 feet.
