Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Madison, Warren, Claiborne, Jefferson and Tensas Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Vicksburg. * WHEN...Until Sunday, June 15. * IMPACTS...At 39.5 feet, The Long Lake Road to Eagle Lake Road remains impassable about 1 mile north of the Long Lake Community. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 42 feet and nearly steady. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 39.6 feet Saturday evening. - Action stage is 35 feet. - Flood stage is 43 feet.
