Description:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Nebraska, including
the following counties, in central Nebraska, Sherman. In south
central Nebraska, Buffalo, Dawson, Gosper, Kearney and Phelps.
* WHEN...Until 430 AM CDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1018 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated ongoing or soon-to-occur heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This is causing or will cause urban and small
stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen
in parts of the Advisory area, and other parts of the area
can also expect at least 1 to 2 inches of rain over the next
few hours.

Creek, Plum Creek, Cherry Creek, Buffalo Creek, Crooked

Creek, Elm Creek, Clear Creek, Spring Creek, Elk Creek.

Overton, Odessa, Pleasanton, Litchfield, Amherst, Riverdale,

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
