Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Crockett, Irion, Runnels, Schleicher and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 508 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.75 inches are
expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
minor flooding.

San Angelo, Mertzon, Christoval, Miles, Knickerbocker,
Tankersley, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Sherwood, Lake Nasworthy,
Arden, San Angelo State Park, O.C. Fisher Reservoir,
Goodfellow Air Force Base, Grape Creek, Carlsbad, Wall,
Veribest, Vancourt, Mereta and Us-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green
County Line.

College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306,
Howard and Webster, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South
Bryant, FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 2334 crossing
Ninemile Creek, RM 853 crossing Dry Draw, FM 1692 crossing
The Draw, Ranch Road 859 crossing west Rocky Creek and FM
1692 crossing Sales Branch.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
