* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county and independent city, central Saint Louis and central Saint Louis City. * WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. In particular, portions of Deer Creek in St. Louis County have risen above flood stage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 546 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... St. Louis, University City, Kirkwood, East St. Louis, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia, Jennings, Crestwood, Bellefontaine Neighbors, Town and Country, Eureka, Berkeley, Richmond Heights, Ladue and Sunset Hills.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
