Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Black River at Black Rock.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low lying cultivated land and pastures in
Lawrence, Jackson, and Independence counties flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise slightly to a crest
of 18.5 Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
