...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Alabama...
Paint Rock River NEAR Woodville affecting Madison, Marshall and
Jackson Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Paint Rock River near Woodville.
* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flood waters affect mostly bottomland
along the river...including low lying farm and pasturelands.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 16.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 AM CDT Monday was 16.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to crest at a stage of 16.5
feet this afternoon. It will then begin to fall, falling
below flood stage Tuesday evening. The river is then forecast
to continue falling to a stage of 12.8 feet Wednesday
morning.
