White River at Petersburg. .Rainfall over the last several days totaling 1 to 2 inches along the lower White River has led to minor flooding at Petersburg and minor flooding will reach Hazleton over the next day. Flooding is expected to end by Friday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Hazleton. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Flood water is near or starting on Pottsville Road. Low bottomlands are increasingly affected by flood waters. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.7 feet Wednesday evening.
