For the Canadian River...including Amarillo 19N...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Canadian River at Amarillo 19N. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Dirt road that runs east alongside the river channel becomes flooded. This road leads to Rosita Creek Flats Recreation Area, where primitive camping occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 4.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 7.5 feet early this evening. The river will fall to 5.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then rise to 5.9 feet early Thursday morning.
