Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Connecticut River at Middle Haddam. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flooding is expected in low lying sections along the Connecticut River from Wethersfield and Glastonbury downstream through Cromwell, Middletown and Portland. Boating interests should prepare for a period of swift river flows. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:55 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 7.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:55 PM EDT Thursday was 7.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late tonight to 6.5 feet late tomorrow morning.
