...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kentucky...
Green River at Paradise.
.Due to recent heavy rainfall, the Green River at Paradise is
projected to rise above flood stage this evening.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Green River at Paradise.
* WHEN...Until late Wednesday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 380.0 feet, Water rises over the skimmer wall at the
TVA fossil plant.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 379.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 381.2 feet. It will then fall
below flood stage Wednesday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 380.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
