Description: 
Heavy rain, over a large area, has fallen in Saunders County, specifically around Prague and north of Malmo. The runoff from this rain will likely cause significant rises along Wahoo, Cottonwood, Duck, and Sand Creeks. It is possible the resulting flooding leads to water over several roads, including Highway 92 west of Wahoo and Highway 66 near Ithaca. In addition, several county roads near these creeks may flood. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Nebraska, including the following county, Saunders. * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wahoo, Cedar Bluffs, Weston, Prague, Ithaca, Morse Bluff, Malmo, Colon, Lake Wanahoo Recreation Area and Czechland Lake.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
