James River near Boaz affecting Stone and Christian Counties.
James River at Galena affecting Stone County.
Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.
For the James River...including Galena, Boaz...Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Little Osage River...including Horton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton.
* WHEN...From Sunday evening to late Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, minor flooding affects low lying areas
near the gage site and farmland along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 39.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 39.9 feet this afternoon.
It will then fall to 39.7 feet just after midnight tonight.
It will rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening to 41.2
feet Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Monday morning.
