* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Central, South Central, and Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase, Marion and McPherson. In South Central Kansas, Butler and Harvey. In Southeast Kansas, Greenwood. * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 924 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newton, Hesston, Hillsboro, Marion, North Newton, Peabody, Cottonwood Falls, Madison, Strong City, Florence, Goessel, Walton, Elbing, Burns, Lincolnville, Cassoday, Bazaar, Elmdale, Matfield Green and Cedar Point.
Instruction:
