For the Red River...including Dekalb, Index, Fulton, Shreveport, Coushatta, Grand Ecore...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Red River near Dekalb. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Flooding of some two thousand acres of flood plain occur. Ranchers should move livestock and equipment to higher ground. Moderate to severe bank erosion occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 25.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.8 feet on 05/09/1995. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
