Marais Des Cygnes River at Ottawa affecting Franklin County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Salt Creek near Lyndon. * WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor low land flooding begins in farm field just west of the Highway 75 bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 11.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
