Neosho River near Parsons affecting Neosho and Labette Counties. Neosho River at Oswego affecting Labette and Cherokee Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Erie. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening to late Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, The road 7 miles northwest of Erie at 190th Road just west of Big Creek becomes flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 32.7 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday morning. - Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
