...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...
Pottawatomie Creek at Lane affecting Franklin County.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek at Lane.
* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Minor low land flooding begins along the
creek.
At 23.5 feet, Virginia Road floods north of the bridge closing the
road.
At 24.0 feet, Douglas Road floods about a quarter mile northwest
of Lane.
At 25.0 feet, Cloud Road, also known as the road to Richmond floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 24.8 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
evening.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
Instruction:
