Cottonwood River at Cottonwood Falls affecting Chase County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cottonwood River near Plymouth. * WHEN...Until Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Road A becomes completely inundated near the river gage site, south of Hwy 50. Expect flooding of crops and fields. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 33.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening. - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
