Major flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Fishing cabins near the river face
flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 21.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 22.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 18.4 feet
Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
