...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas...
West Fork Trinity River Near Boyd affecting Wise County.
Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Anderson,
Freestone and Leon Counties.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood).
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Moderate flooding of numerous ranches
along the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch
lands will be moderately flooded.
At 45.0 feet, Major flooding of ranches and farm lands along the
river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch interests
will be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 44.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday was 45.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday morning and continue falling to 34.9 feet early
Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
44.5 feet on 05/21/1965.

Instruction:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.Turn around, don't
drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in
vehicles.
