Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible tonight through early Tuesday morning.
* WHERE...The South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far southern
Texas Panhandle.
* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of roads, playa
lakes, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water
crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread showers and thunderstorms tonight will be capable
of very high rain rates. 1 to 2 inches of rain are likely for
most areas, with localized amounts of 3 inches possible.
- As rainfall diminishes Tuesday morning, roads and streets
could remain flooded causing impacts to the morning commute.
