Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the following
areas, Hartford CT, Tolland CT and Windham CT and Massachusetts,
including the following areas, Eastern Franklin MA, Eastern
Hampden MA, Eastern Hampshire MA, Northern Worcester MA, Southern
Worcester MA, Western Franklin MA, Western Hampden MA and Western
Hampshire MA.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Storm drains and
ditches may become clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches fell across the Watch area
last evening. An additional up to one-half inch of rain is
possible through early tonight in the Watch area, and
additional minor instances of flooding remain possible from
this rain given the saturated soil conditions.
