* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northwest New
Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico,
Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area. In
north central New Mexico, Glorieta Mesa Including Glorieta Pass
and Santa Fe Metro Area. In northwest New Mexico, Northwest
Plateau.
* WHEN...From 11 AM MDT this morning through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are
possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Another round of thunderstorms is forecast to develop around
mid day and persist through the afternoon, producing heavy
rainfall over already saturated grounds. A quick 1-2" of rain
is possible.
