* WHAT...For the first Lake Wind Advisory, west winds 10 to 15 mph
with gusts up to 25 to 30 mph. For the second Lake Wind Advisory,
west winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 to 40 mph expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Georgia and central South
Carolina.
* WHEN...For the first Lake Wind Advisory, until 10 PM EDT this
evening. For the second Lake Wind Advisory, from 2 PM to 8 PM EDT
Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions for small craft.
Instruction:
Boaters on area lakes should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
