The areas affected include... Boston Harbor... Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary... Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay... At 514 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a front, capable of producing a northwest windshift with speeds around 30 knots. This front was located along a line extending from Rockport to near Salem to 6 nm west of Revere, moving southeast at 40 knots. Locations impacted include... Eastern Point Ma, Boston Harbor, Beverly Harbor, Boston Buoy 44013, Boston Light, Mass Bay Buoy 44029, Thatcher Island, Marblehead Neck, Broad Sound, Minot Light, and Sandy Bay.
Instruction: 
Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and briefly rough seas. In addition, we are monitoring a line of severe thunderstorms moving through central Massachusetts. A Special Marine Warning may be needed to handle strong wind and lightning threats associated with this line of thunderstorms as it nears eastern Massachusetts. Consider heading for safe harbor.
