Description:
At 155 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Pinckneyville to near Murphysboro to near Grand
Tower, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Dowell, Campbell Hill, St. Johns, Ava, Vergennes, Du Quoin, Gorham,
Frohna, Carbondale, Elkville, Makanda, Grand Tower, Murphysboro,
Cedar Lake Area, De Soto, Altenburg, Willisville, and Pinckneyville.
This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 120 and 121.
