Southwestern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 300 PM MDT.
* At 229 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Mead, or 20
miles southwest of Greeley, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Firestone, Johnstown, Frederick, Milliken, Berthoud, Mead,
Platteville, Gilcrest and Fort St Vrain.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
