North Central Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until 500 PM MDT.
* At 426 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Peetz, or 21
miles north of Sterling, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely
to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek

well-built structure.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT Sunday for a
portion of northeast Colorado.
