Description:
At 446 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast
of Wray, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Yuma and northwestern Dundy Counties, including the
following locations... Laird, Alvin, and Wauneta.
This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 247 and 269.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for northeastern
Colorado...and southwestern Nebraska.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
