At 657 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Huntsville,
moving east at 55 mph. Ping Pong ball sixed hail near Huntsville
High School.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Huntsville, Lim Rock, Jericho, Marshall Space Flight Center, Larkin,
Francisco, Pisgah, Rosalie, Hazel Green, and Fisk.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.
