Description:
At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast
of Bird Island, or 21 miles west of Hutchinson, moving east at 30
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hector, Bird Island, Buffalo Lake, Cosmos, Lakeside, Corvuso and
Cedar Mills.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
