Description:
At 251 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Kuhns to Sea View Pier, moving northeast at 50
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Jacksonville, New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, North Topsail Beach,
Newport, Cedar Island, Harkers Island, Pumpkin Center, Piney Green,
New River Station, Half Moon, Camp Lejeune Center, James City,
Stella, Swansboro, Hubert, South River, Cape Carteret, and North
River.
Instruction:

building.
