At 723 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from near Mississippi Sound East Of Pascagoula to 13
nm south of Petit Bois Pass to 22 nm east of Chandeleur Sound, moving
southeast at 45 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
Locations impacted include...
Pascagoula and Horn Island.
Instruction:
Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
