Description:
At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles northeast of
Chavistown to Dovesville to near Lamar. Movement was northeast at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. Torrential
rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Florence, Bennettsville, Hartsville, Darlington, Timmonsville,
Mccoll, Lamar, Quinby, Clio, Mont Clare, Lydia, Darlington Raceway,
Swift Creek, Florence Darlington Technical College Main Campus, Oats,
Chavistown, Floyd, North Hartsville, Dovesville, and Auburn.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 20 between mile markers 127 and 141.
Interstate 95 in South Carolina near mile marker 146, and between
mile markers 158 and 173.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Do not
drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
