Description:
At 832 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
White Oak, or 11 miles northwest of Elizabethtown, moving north at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Eastover, Stedman, Autryville, Vander, Cedar Creek, and Bushy Lake
Natural Area.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning
can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter
inside a building or vehicle.
