At 138 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bowdens to 6 miles south of La Grange. Movement was north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Turkey, Seven Springs, Mar-Mac, Brogden, Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park, Elroy, and Grantham.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central North Carolina.
