Description:
At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Dime Box, or 8 miles northeast of Giddings, moving
east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Giddings, Dime Box, Round Top, Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway,
Carmine, Serbin, Northrup, Old Dime Box, Ledbetter, Waldeck, Loebau,
Warda, Winedale, Lincoln, and Nechanitz.
