Description: 
At 437 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hinson, or 9 miles southeast of Williamston, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Bertie County, including the following locations... Merry Hill, Midway, Woodard, and Edenhouse.
