At 449 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lewiston Woodville, or 7 miles south of Aulander, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ahoskie, Aulander, Lewiston Woodville, Powellsville, Union, Kelford, Earleys, Menola, Connaritsa, Republican, Burden, Saint John, Millennium, Proctors Corner, Poor Town, and Brantleys Grove.
